Institutional Memberships
Institutional members appoint one member to the AISLS board of directors. Other faculty and administrators are entitled to be placed on the AISLS listserve, and graduate students from member institutions are eligible for AISLS student grants that otherwise require individual membership. The cost is $250 annually. To join, please write John Rogers (rogersjohnd at aol.com) to request more information or an invoice.
Individual Memberships
Individual members of AISLS automatically join our closed listserve, which contains news relevant for researchers on Sri Lanka. Members are also entitled to vote in elections for AISLS officers and for the board of directors. AISLS uses the PayPal system for collecting dues online.

The membership year is from 1 October to 30 September. Payments received after 1 August will be credited to the upcoming membership year.

To join or renew by mail, please print and fill out the individual membership form, and make your check out to "AISLS".
The American Institute for Sri Lankan Studies is a United States registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit academic organization. As described in Internal Revenue Service Publication 526, donations to AISLS may be tax deductible.
