Embilipitiya Disappeared Schoolchildren’s Parents’ Organisation (EDSCPO) Fonds
This archive of the EDSCPO consists of documents from 1990-2018 collected by the secretary of the organization, S.H.C. de Silva (1939-2021). The EDSCPO was established in 1991 to investigate the abduction of 48 teenage schoolboys who were detained, tortured, and disappeared at the Sevana Army Camp from 1989-1990. The records include newspaper clippings, correspondence, official reports, leaflets, booklets, scrapbooks, court documents, and more. Of the total collection, five investigative reports and one court judgment have been uploaded to view online.
