Through its library, website and projects for the preservation and dissemination of research materials, AISLS seeks to strengthen the infrastructure for the scholarly study of Sri Lanka. Recent projects include the publication of a guide to locating photographs of colonial Ceylon and the commissioning of a supplement for J.W. Gair and W.S. Karunatilaka’s Literary Sinhala (1974).
