AISLS President Sharika Thiranagama (Stanford University) is giving a public talk on “In My Mother’s House: Reflections on the Civil War in Sri Lanka,” at 4.00 pm on Friday, July 6, 2018, at the Department of English, University of Colombo.
The lecture will be preceded by a showing at 2:30 pm of the film No More Tears Sister, a documentary film about Dr. Rajini Thiranagama, who was Sharika’s mother. Sharika plays her mother in the film, and she will be available to answer questions after the showing.
